    Mounting swivel seat base to aluminum bench seat?

    Was wondering if anyone had successfully done this? The bench is full of floatation material so there is no way to put nuts on the bottom. I'm reluctant to just use sheet metal screws as we all know they are going to eventually wallow out and become loose. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

    I just picked up a small fishing boat with an 85' Evinrude 15hp, this is my 1st outboard. My question is, when I disconnect the fuel line from the 6 gal tank, it will continuously leak from where it connects at the tank unless i crack the cap to vent it. Is this normal?
