    merc 454 solid or hydrolic lifters??

    Do the 454's have solid or hydrolic lifters?? My engine started a slight tick and it sounds like lifters??? Thanks for you help!! I have a 98 crownline 202 454 merc and brovo 1 with captains call through hull exhaust added. It runs great just has a slight tick from the valve cover area...
