    overhauled johnson

    I over hauled a 25 horse johnson and it runs sluggish. I put .30 larger pistons and rings in it and put it all back together and it just doesnt have that kick it should. Any suggestions would be great.

    80 horse dies when first started and put in gear

    my buddies 80 merc starts fine and idles fine but if he hasnt had it running for more than a day it takes about 10 min to warm up or he cant throttle it to take off. He can put it in gear but once he throttles to go it dies. So he lets it warm up and then its fine. What should he do?

    correct prop size for a 40 horse johnson

    My brother runs a 1975 40 horse johnson on a 16 foot semi v flat bottom jon boat and doesnt think he has the proper prop on. We run on the missouri river up here in north east nebraska duck hunting and fishing. Can you give me your expert opinion for what size he should have on. thanks
