    Longblock

I am having the 350 mercruiser longblock replaced in my boat (1988) and have the option to go to a roller cam and lifter setup. What are the atvantages ? Less wear? Will it increase the allowable max rpm? Is it worth the added cost? APPX. $150.00 ? Thanks.
