    Before I fixed the wires or should I say wired it up buy that diagram it was firing on #1and #2 with the terminal block broke. Who knows I just know I want to get this thing going asap

    I checked and cleaned all connections but haven't replaced any parts. Due to $$$$ just don't want to and can't afford to just throw parts at it. I don't mind if I know it will fix it though

    My phone won't let me post pictures it may be a force also. Either way it's a 1989 85hp force. The trigger only has three wires and a ground. The diagram I'm going buy on the boat shows six wires. Someone in this forum mentioned it is most likely a aftermarket trigger. All my magnets look good...
