    Outdrive Identification without ID tag

    Can anyone tell me what outdrive i have? It has a mercruiser tag but the model #/Serial # is missing. This is my first boat and i am going to restore it. I have a manual and it shows models I, I-R, II, II-TR, II-TRS, I-MR. They all look similar to me from the crude drawings in the book.
