    Facelift on floor of boat

    Existing floor is in good condition so I am relaying 3/8'' plywwood over existing. I coated the plywood front n back with boiled linseed oil. "Father-in -laws idea". What should I really do to protect the plywood befor carpeting?

    Presure test lower unit ?

    Hi,<br />I rebuilt the lower unit on my 1968 65hp Evinrude sportfour. I had the lower unit inspected and was told the seals were in good shape. I still have water in the lower unit. What now? Water pump reseal? How is this pressure/vacumm test done? Thanks Rod

    Still have water in l/u

    Hi Ya'll<br />Just took the lower end apart cause of water in my oil and jumping out of gear.<br />Since I've never seen new gear & clutch parts, How can you tell if it needs replacement?     I have adjusted the gear shift adjustment to manual specs but pops nandout of gear. (Watched the adjustment rod bounce rapidly).
