    It worked. I took the cowling off and it ran all day. The 40hp Rude that wouldn't run in the summer. Ran it out of the get go with cowling on. Wouldn't start. Got it started and ran it with the cowling off, no probs. Next move please?

    I fish and make short trips of running time about 15min. or so. This only happens in the summertime and not in the winter. In the morning it starts right up.
