    Winterizing upper gear oil change or not

    Hi, Every do it yourself list are listing that the lower gear oil needs changing prior to winter but none are mentionning the upper gear oil on the sterndrive. Does it needs to be changed also or is there no risk involved? Tks,

    Cracking Starter nose on 3.0L Base Engine
