I have a 1999 mercruiser 5.0 alpha one out drive, prop is slipping , factory aluminum prop, looking for replacement hub , the inside looks like a tapered stepped cone it does not resemble the flo master 2 . Any suggestions..
Motor starts and runs fine until it warms up. Hard to start after being shut off for a few minutes. Will eventually start. Then runs fine. Until its shut down again. Doesn't happen everytime. Idles fine after started.
Ran my boat today on 2 gallons of fuel with 2 cans seafoam cleaner. Ran awesome. 5100 rpm .Once I ran that out hooked motor back up to regular mix fuel. Dropped back to 3900 RPM's.? Anyone know why the difference?

Working on a 1977 Evinrude 55 horsepower that bogs down at wide open throttle. Motor is new to me was given NGK br7hs plugs. By dealer. Have been researching the older CD ignition system requires a non resistor style plug could this be my issue?
