    It seams all of the old motors I run blows excess oil out of the top seal ( below the points ) and eventually fouls out the points with oil, I'm guessing it's from the ethanol in the gas.     1963 18 hp evinrude point gap

    My manual says if the motor has flywheel cd breaker points the gap should be .012 (used) all other point gap systems should be .020. My question is which point gap system do I have ? The points are under the flywheel but I don't know what the "cd" means. So I don't know which gap to use...
