    I am putting a new deck in my 1976 Viking SportDeck Boat. What type of wood would you use; plywood, treated plywood, or marine grade plywood? And then I was thinking that when I get the floor back in I would use herculiner or something like that to cover it and water proof it. What do you guys...

    OMC oring

    I am resealing my tilt clutch housing on my 1976 175HP OMC Sterndrive. My local marina can get me all the parts (overnight) but the oring. My question is, can I use a stanard oring? The oring is separating type c lower unit lube & water.

    175 OMC won't shift out of forward

    I have a 1976, 175 OMC w/ a 302 engine.<br />It won't shift out of forward when I put it in neutral, I have to shut the engine off to get it to shift into neutral. I have heard somethings about a cut-off switch. Does anyone know where it is at or if i can by-pass it with a momentary switch on...
