    1984 VRO 90 HP Johnson

    I would like to know what is the purpose of the crank case air. Is that to operate the VRO pump? Does gas get into that? I am thinking of putting an electric fuel pump instead of using the VRO. Can I block off that crank case air nipple? Thanks.
