    Bought new risers and manifolds for my 350 engine from Mercruiser. They are ceramic coated. I know I should file off the top coat of paint at the gasket surfaces, but should I leave the ceramic coating on the gasket surface areas too? Or sure I go down to bare metal at all gasket surfaces?
