    Yamaha repower from 1995 150 - 2 stroke to 2009 f150 - 4 stroke. tachometer issues

    I have the digital tach and speedometer, which I would like to keep, however the plugs and wire colors are not identical. Does anyone know if I can use my 1995 vintage digital tach and speedo with my 2009 four stroke. If so, how should it be wired.

    I have a 06 40hp 4s. When i attempt to throttle up the motor "falls on its face". I replaced plugs and filters. no change. Any suggestions.

    Winter Storage

    I have a 1994 Yamaha 150 txtr. Is it better to add fuel stabilizer to the gas and run it throught he carbs for the winter, or should i disconnect the gas line and run the motor out of gas? The boat will typicall sit from november to april.

    1995 Yamaha 150 saltwater series carburator setting.

    I have a 95 SWS 150 Yamaha. I rebuilt the carbs and set the adjustment to 1 turn out. The manual calls for 3/4 to 1 1/4 turn out. My motor is still " lean sneezing " and stalling out. Will an increase out or in help with this? Or any other suggestions...
