    69 johnson 100hp no spark after 10 min running

    After it warms up it dies. no spark checked coils stator. Dealer says its the power pack, the box at the back of the motor with all the wires comming out of it. I NEED ONE AND CAN'T FIND ONE. if you have one or know of one let me know. thanks, GGBNFF. [ GOES GOOD BUT NOT FOR FAR]

    Howie Dean- Locktight on rod bolts?

    This is the first time opened and no factory locktight is present, the manual says nothing about it and here in Canada the locktight is too frozen to sqweeze out of the bottle.... jus kidden ya.Is this what you do, if so , its probably a good idea.

    Mixed up rod bearings D'oh !

    I bought a 87 yamaha 115 in a cardboard box. I have had the block bored .20 over new pistons ect. The rod bearings were in a can, mixed up. They are needle type in split cages and are ingood shape as the motor has very low hours. Is it critical that each half go togeather back in the same rod...

    87 115hp yamaha piston seizure

    I just got a 115 in a cardboard box. # 1&4 pistons are badly damaged, it looks like 4 corner seizure cylinders are ok need to be cleened up but no real damage.I am going to check the water pump and impeller.Before I start to drop cash on this project I would like to know are these motors knowen...
