    Need Help 50hp Evinrude Adjust Shift Linkage

    1998 50hp evinrude 2stroke replaced the water pump now i cant get the shifting linkage down far enough to the screw/pin hole. unhooked in neutral is that where it should be. help first time rookie. motor model# e50tslecc i havent got a manual yet. thanks in advance.

    help? 50hp evinrude install shift linkage

    1998 50hp evinrude model#e50tslecc my first outboard waterpump replacement job pulled the lower unit off replaced and know cant get shifting cable to the lower screw hole. its out of ajustment but not sure what to do thanks in advance.
