    1987 Evinrude Super 45 choking out at full speed.

    I have a 1987 Evinrude super 45, starts great, runs well expect at full speed without a load in the boat it seems to choke it self out. If i run just under full it runs fine tho. Took apart the carbs cleaned them, ran sea foam but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

    1999 40 johnson seized?

    1999 40 johnson not using oil.

    I have just purchased a 1999 johnson 40 with oil injection. I mixed the first tank with oil then the second with none. Closer to the end of the second tank it began to lose power but still ran. I checked for any cracks in the oil line and found none. Just wondering what else it could be?
