I have a 1979 55hp Evinrude that I just finished rebulding after I blew a rod bearing and replaced the rod, bearing, and crank. It doesn't idle too well so I cleaned the carbs (rebuilt them about 3 months ago) and the idle is still a little off. It also seems to lag a little for a split second...
