    No, I have a chevy blazer 4.3 vortec with a 4 bbl edelbrock. New prop is a turning point hustler. Hoping that I can get a bit more stern lift and bite. The 3 blade starts to break loose at 4900, I feel like I should be able to trim it more. I want low end skiing grunt, don't care too much about...

    Yeah, I guess I *could* have just gone back to the bar. I tried loading on the lift with wind coming in and had a tough time. From now on I throw it on the mooring and wait for storm to pass

    I only got 42 mph/4400 rpm the other day with my new 4 blade/9 aboard. Haven't tried solo yet, but with old 21p and just me I'm getting 47/4900. Mine is allegedly around 220 hp, though I don't think I'm getting that.

    Still seems a bit slow for that hull. Either you're still over propped or you have an issue. I'd check compression, at least to get a baseline. Should be getting 4800 rpm with just you on board.

    Are you able to see which temp rises first? WAG is that once you start to stress it and pressure doesn't rise, exhaust temp would rise first followed by ECT.

    That looks pretty smooth. Is the shift plate moving when you shift with the engine off? On muffs? On the water? Did you try leaving the shift assist plunger disconnected like BT suggested? You said the plate now moves easily with everything disconnected, and snaps back centered? See what happens...

    Yes, it's difficult to repair. No, you don't need it. Seems like you have enough issues to take care of, I'd leave that one until you do your bellows. I haven't had a trim gauge or limit switch in years
