    There is a little dial just below the key. I can't find it's purpose in any of the literature. I have turned the dial but nothing happens. Would anyone no what this dial is for? Wait... I know, it is for driving me nuts!

    1994 40HP Evinrude - WOT problem

    I have my motor attached to an 18 foot Princecraft. The engine works fine at Idle and up to 3400 RPM. It seems that when ever I attempt to go past 3400 RPM it drops back to 2400 RPM. If I give it full throtle from dead stop it will get to 4000 RPM before it settles back to 2400 RPM. I have...
