    Using the same magnet the original backing plate does not have any pull but the replacement is definitely magnetic. I used a boroscope and from what I can tell the impeller appears to be brass.

    I removed the impeller housing and was cleaning it. I noticed the port marked with the red arrow will turn. Will this leak? Has anyone else experienced this? Volvo Penta 4.3 GLPEFS

    Anyone know how to remove this? I have tried flipping and sliding the center piece down to access the fasteners behind but it has not worked. It is an old model Hummingbird depth finder.

    Trim gauge reads correctly while in the water but when the boat is out of the water the gauge reads at the upper limit regardless of the outdrive position. Any ideas? Volvo Penta SX-M S/N 4202008511
