    Would it not also be visible in the clear bowl at the bottom of the fuel water separator if there was water in the fuel?

    I am going to drain, pull and inspect the tank, lines and anything else, yes it is built in. I also put on a fuel water separator where the fuel line comes out of the hull to the motor. but why would it run in the test tank and not when in the water? its the same gas coming from the same source?

    starter battery and cables are good. I'm going to test compression again, then i will pull covers and send pics. just retested the compression and realized i misread the gauge the first time, all four are between 95-100 psi. so am i good to not look at the pistons?
