    ok thank you. and i also just tossed in some carb cleaner. i will be taking the carb off it tonight to give it a thorough cleaning. also there is no bowl. it is 2 jet. so i will be taking it all apart .

    when i bought this boat, the owner said they had it started up. after about 6 months of sitting the carb is bone dry. is this normal? i havent checked the bowl for fuel. but im guessing that there is none in it....

    well im happy to give an update with pictures. for the nay sayers . wont name any names .lol hot glue actually does work! 8+ hours and still not pulling apart. cover is stretched to its limits . seams are holding together no problems at all with this hot glue. below are before pics.

    well here i am reporting back, i read on another forum that hot glue does wonders on seams. , so as i am unable to afford any thread right now. i decided to give the ole hot glue a try. will let you know how it worked out tommorow when its dry.

    thank you all for the replies. i will find something and report back when i do. so far i have used very low quality thread (dollar store crap) first foot or so was awesome , coulda kept goin but the thread snapped. had it set at 30 stitches. i might continue on with it as long as i can .

    well i tried to use it . the mono. but its just bound up my bobbin carrier. so i wont try that again. anything else? if i go another route it will cost me 200 to get it restiched. wich i dont have.

    ok so my boat cover needs to be restitched. i have tried normal thread but no luck just breaks. i am using a singer 15=91 sewing machine. i am thinking on using monofilament line. anyone ever try this? how does the upper needle and line grab the bobbin line? the fabric is lighter then tent...

    ok so i just got done some measuring. my floor sits 2 ft down from top side. all the way to front of bow. the bow is approximate 4ft deep. . and from the bow light to the dashboard is 72 inches long. . question here is this. can i take the floor out from that section ,take it down at least...

    ok so here is the idea.... i would also add stringers across top deck underside .as i would lose the side walls, i would also block up where the yellow goes down to floor. so basically i would take out floor from yellow mark forward and make it deeper. then put in a bed style seating.
