    my alternator is only charging slightly over 12volts it has been just below 14 previously. Batts are brand new. Thinking about installing new alternator and was thinking about installing a higher output amp unit. Any thoughts?

    Intermittent starting issue

    Raw water inlet hose

    I want to replace the inlet hose on my 1993 220 Cobalt 7.4 liter. I can’t even see where the other end is from the water pump. Disappears behind the engine. Any advise?

    Cold starting problem

    7.4L mercruiser with both batteries fully charged my starter won't engage with multiple tries then finally catches. Does this only on first start up when cold, no problem when engine is hot. Cranks first try every time. Possibly bad solenoid or bendix?

    Idler pulley

    I have a 1993 Cobalt 7.4L I need replacement info for the idler pulley. The wheel bearing/bushing and stud with nut. This is old style v-belt not serpentine.
