    Only one carb is over flowing fuel. The other carb requires choking or spraying fuel to get it to take off and go. Which carb is the suspect, the one spitting or the one that needs to be choked.

    I don't phrase my questions very well. The threads that I am installing the Helicoil in are for the hinge pin. I have concerns about strength of the repair. Is Red Locktite the strongest thread locker or is there something better?

    I have worked with a lot of aluminum coil stock...I understand your point. I have some aluminum tubing. Is there any reason why Aluminum would be a bad idea?

    It would probably be a little better if I pulled the cap, but the new floor only goes about 6 or 8 inches under the open bow floor. I can fully access the new floor tabbing through the front seats and/or under the dash.
