    I got a Belgium-made 2001 30hp twostroke, 0p121576, 1031412YB. Which is the correct pole setting? 4P or 6P? Its says 6p in manual for US-made but no info on Belgium-made.

    Chop 5-pin tach plug?

    Hi the 5-pin plug on my 2001 2-stroke 30 HP has seen better days and its only 4 pins left. If I would like to connect gauges (like tach etc) is it possible to just chop the plug off and connect directly to the cables behind the plug instead? Or would it ruin something?
