    Hello all, I was changinging oil and had a stubborn oil filter.I put channel locks on it and I didn't have battery disconnected.The channel locks hit the 12volt side hot cable lug (hot cable from battery) it arced..So all said done it would not do anything from the key BUT key on and pull rope...

    1999 50hp johnson

    Hello All! I have a 1999 50 hp johnson the top carberator only works when rpms get up..i have cleaned it and it ran fine for a day or two but it always seems to not work til high rpms i can have it running in water and adjust the rich/lean screw (when i have it in nuetral and give a little gas)...
