    I would still look at hydraulic jack plates. that way you can get into skinny water as well as raise them out of the water.

    if the core plug was pushed out, the motor went thru a thermal-declination material breach..........the block and manifold are busted.

    I would look deeper in the hole. looks like someone used HDPE (fake wood) and ran deck screws in the 6 holes. because nothing really sticks to HDPE
