I inherited a 1989 merc 25 HP. There was no spark when pulling or electric starting. I realized the throttle kill switch was compressed so I bypassed the kill switch on the CDI switch box and bingo I had spark. I then removed the throttle handle and cleaned the throttle kill. Now...
