have a 40 johsnson on 150 alumicraft. Engine runs great until it engages forward. Runs good for 30 seconds, then has no power at full throttle. When disengaged. Runs like a champ. New to boat motors. Doesn't make sense. When I flush the motor out with the ears on it, and engage it, runs great...
