    The tilt still works. I just can't steer. I was wondering if I cut the thick side off if I could pull the rest of it through. Would that work possibly? Thank you

    I have a 2005 4 stroke 60hp bigfoot. When reinstalling I had trouble getting the steering arm to attach. I used too much force pounding the arm into the metal and I think I bent it in such a way that I can't get the cable through the tilt tube. Any suggestions? I'm willing to buy a new...
