Bought a 1988 Sunbird Cuddy - 2.3 OMC inboard/outboard. Had to tear it apart to put a new bearing in the upper gear housing on the outboard. It has a 21/21 gear ratio in that upper housing. Is there a way to boost the power and speed by changing out the gears or should I stick to the least...
