    My motor is a 1974 65hp Merc 650 3 cylinder with 49.8 cid, a 50 hp of the same year is a 4 cylinder with 43.8 cid. Why make a smaller cid motor with more cylinders? What is the purpose of this?

    Caught a mess of fish

    Went out today, finally since now all the rain has stopped. Caught a mess of Bluegill, a few Whitebass and a couple Crappie. Final count, I cleaned 38 Bluegill that were a minimum of 8 inches long and 2 Crappie the where about 12 inches.<br /><br />How is the fishing in your neck of the woods?

    1974 MERC 65hp Lower unit

    What other hp lower units will fit this motor? IE, 402,50hp,60hp,80hp? The lower unit was trashed, and now I need another one. Serial number is 4049463. If anyone has one let me know, as long as the gears and all the shafts are good, I dont care if I have to have it resealed.

    How good is this stuff for floatation? I use it in all my jon boats to fill bench seats so the foam this is already inside does not move, but how good is this stuff?

    How to ship large outboard?

    I have shipped several small outboards that I have sold on ebay, but never one this big. It will have to be shipped via freight, can anyone help me out? The motor is an 85hp Johnson.
