    I have a 82' evinrude 70 on my pontoon and I have another pontoon with a 92' mariner 90. I need the extra little horsepower on the other pontoon plus its my max on it, anyways what all will I need to change out for the job?

    82 rude 70hp key wont cut it off

    so as stated I have a pontoon boat and the key wont turn the engine off but it will turn all the other guages off I was wondering if this could be something on the engine I may have messed with?

    90 hp mariner vs 70 hp evinrude

    I have a 89 90hp mariner and a 82 70 hp evinrude it will be pushing a 1900 lb pontoon boat. The question is gas what would I expect if I threw on the mercury does it use up gas tremendously?

    evinrude 70 hp won't go on its own

    1982 3 cyl evinrude 70hp it will idle fine but when I put it in drive or reverse it will stall out unless I hit the electric choke then it goes

    I have a 82 evinrude 70hp and a 87 evinrude 60hp can the coils be interchanged? or is there a spark difference?

    82' 70hp evinrude running too rich

    When Im going down the river it will go for a while then start to lower rpms from 4700 to 2800 out of no where and it gets hard to start it after I have been riding around I have to rev it to get it to start then sometimes it will and sometimes it wont go.

    model number EL70ELCNB looks brand new paint perfect but some motor website said it was an 82 it looks too pristine to be that old and the boat was made in 02 anyways it was a rental pontoon can anyone tell me how to take the govenor off the engine?
