    Just bought this motor for my pontoon, has been in storage for years(fog and winterized) it looks new. runs strong untill 5000rpm then acts like it runs out of gas. pumping the bulb or choke makes no differance. floats are level,carbs clean,new fuel pump. new fuel lines... the two yellow wires...

    1990 GT 150 Tach at idle only

    Just bought a Ranger and the Tach only works at idle. have read lots of post reffering to tach and Rectefiers but have not come to a conclusion yet. if the rect. was bad would the tach work at idle?
