    K&N airfilter/flame arrestor

    I'm considering getting a k&n filter/flame arrestor for my inboard v-8. I've heard the argument that a flame arrestor alone doesn't filter the air sufficiently, ultimately having adverse effects on the engine itself. Now are these kandn's a USCG approved item? Are they worth it?

    Recently I degreased my engine of the nasty film of lubricant that protected it over the winter. After washing everything down I noticed that the dipstick wasn't sealed around the hole in the engine block. I then checked the oil and found water in the oil. How can I remedy this problem? Will...
