    1962 Evinrude head bolt torque

    I found specs for a 15 hp that had the torque to be 96-120 in. lbs. or 8- 10 ft. lbs. Would it be the same for an 18 hp?

    I have two Evinrude motors one was to be a parts motor but they look a little different. I would like to know the year of them if possible. First one is: 15037B 50220 2nd. is: 18304AC 86272 Thanks in advance

    Gale Sovereign 40 hp Model 40DE17B Serial C382062

    Hope to get help here I can't seem to find the year of the motor by the serial numbers or model number. The plate has patent 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960. Also has Model 40DE17B Serial C382062 Thanks in advance.
