    Trying to check out my stator...please help!

    I found this from a early post while searching but still want to know what resistance is too much/ not enough..... I'll have to check the new stator that I have in the barn to be sure, however, Mercury, Force and the CDI replacement stators all are built with Yellow wires to the battery...

    Hi guys, 1st time poster so go easy on me. I did a lot of reading here over the last few weeks and have some ideas on what is wrong. First off, I think I am a pretty good shade tree mechanic(lots of ATV,dune buggy, dirt bike, and small engine repairs) but nothing bigger than 25HP boat...
