    Sears Gamefisher 7.5 leaking oil from back of engine

    I have several of these motors(later models, black in color). They all leak oil out of the back of the engine.Some worse than others.Just wondering if this is normal......thanks Robert

    Hi I am new, I have a 1985 sears 5hp outboard model 217-586613 and it starts right up runs for a second and dies(will not idle).I rebuilt the carb and I think I did it right.The motor reves up really high during that second and it also makes a fluttery high pitched sound right before it...
