I've seen a lot of quierys seeking parts, and wishing the OEM.
You can find that from the model number for the outboard, as the number begins with a 3 digit prefix, which indicates the manufacturer of the motor;
298.xxxxxx = Tanaka
217.xxxxxx = Eska
225.xxxxxx = Mercury
488.xxxxxx = Johnson...
