    Evinrude 9.9 startup woes!

    OK, I have spend all day working on this engin.<br /><br />85 Evinrude although my Grandpa thinks he got it<br />in 87. Been sitting in the shed for 5 years.<br />Got it out. Cleaned it up. Took the carb off <br />and worked all day on getting it to run. <br />I can't get it to stay running...

    Hello all. just found the list. Looks great.<br />I have a problem. I have an 84/85 Evinrude 9.9hp.<br /><br />It is my Grandpa's but he doesn't have the owner's manual anylonger. Well, nobody knows what the Oil/Fuel mix is? I can't find anything on it and unfortunately I can't get out there...
