    How do you tell when a 5hp.Honda was built

    The tag on the transom clamp says BF5A and the stamp on the motor says BADE-1217220. I was told it was a 2002 but I can't verify that.

    Took the boat out this last weekend everything was running perfect but i noticed it was over charging normally it charges about 14 volts + or - but this time it was charging 16 + volts. Could this be the rectifier or is it the regulator?

    1986 Mercury 75 HP Wires form stator to rectifier question

    Does it matter which wires land on the rectifier both wires are the same color(yellow) and the ones off the old stator were the same color there is no trace color on the old or new? Thanks for the help

    1984 75 hp Vent Line on lower unit ???

    There is a 1/4" tube comming from what looks like the lower unit and it is tie rapped on the side. Is this tube attached correctly or does it need to be connected to something? :confused: Thank You for the help
