    alarm is going off

    I have a 1989 Johnson GT 200 V-6 with out V.R.O. What is the correct operating temperture for this motor? Is there a way to check the desenting units to see if they are working correctly? Any help would be appreciated.<br />Thank You, Bill

    Motor runs 5500 rpm for about 5 mins. or so just fine, then starts cutting out and drops back to 4000 or 4500 rpms.
