The throttle/shift works. I can manually move the shift mechanism on the side of the engine. The engine stays in forward whether or not I am in Forward, Neutral, or Reverse. I think it is stuck as a result of shifting too hard. Please help!

The fuse on the starter wire connected to my battery is burnt out. Is there a specific fuse that is required? I am currently starting the engine without the fuse and would like to replace it myself.
