My 84 Johnson Sailmaster often skips when I try to trottle up. In idle and very low rpm, it generally runs smoothly. As soon as I try to increase trottle, it seems like it is only running on one cylinder...sputters, etc. Usually, after running for awhile at low rpm, I can ease into higher rpm...
