    1970 evinrude 85hp amp replacement

    Hey, <br /><br />I have a 1970 85hp evinrude whith a bad amplifier.<br />A friend told me that you can buy a mod kit which<br />replaces the amp and is much cheaper.<br />Can anybody comfirm this, and sugest where I might find one.<br /><br />Thanks

    1970 evinrude 85hp, no spark

    Hey! I have a 1970 evinrude outboard with electric shift. It appears I have 2 problems.<br />First is I don't have any spark. Second is it appears that the motor is stuck in gear, when you crank the engine the prop spins!?!? I don't know if they are related problems, so I need serious help...
