just found this website,couple of questions,i have just got mayland 16foot and a 8hp johnson longshaft also an old 25hp johnson longshaft i was wondering if i need a shortshaft instead ,the 8 seems to be bit slow ,25 a bit better,the measurements of my transom is from top to bottom...
