    Why?

    I posted earlier, and checked the Coast Guard plaque on my boat, and the max. on my boat "2000 Tarpon Skiff" is 90hp. Why would a Johnson dealer ask me if I really wanted to put a 90hp 4 stroke on this boat, I gave him my reasons, but he didn't give me a reason why I shouldn't. Can somebody...

    What to do?

    I'm a new boat owner, have a 17' Tarpon Skiff, use it mostly for fishing in the flats and occasionally go down to the Keys. I'm looking for a 90hp 2 or 4 stroke. Which would be better and what make? Appreciated any info.
