    1989 40hp Johnson can it be converted to 50hp?

    I have 1989 Tracker Pro-17 w/40Hp Johnson, I've owned it for 21 yrs. no problems, except I wished it had more power my sons are fully grown (16 yr old 240lbs) when him & I are together its a load. Engine trimed up i reach 4500 RPM's, Just wish i could afford a 60hp outboard (max hp for boat)...
